Een tijdje terug schreef ik over communiceren nieuwe stijl naar aanleiding van de trend om social networking diensten te gebruiken voor de communicatie met vrienden in plaats van (vooral) email. Facebook maakt een logische volgende stap in dezelfde richting, Facebook email. Maar dit is zeker niet het eindpunt, er blijft nog veel te wensen over voor wat betreft het ultieme communicatieplatform...
"Last month I suggested that Facebook may be launching an email application. Today, Facebook took a huge step in that direction. Facebook announced a new feature that allows users to write messages to their friends that aren’t currently using Facebook from within the messaging system. Not only can they send; they can receive as well. Even if your friend is not a Facebook member, they can now reply to your messages."
Email is het materiaal waarvan pannen gemaakt werden. Communiceren via email is inderdaad wel heel ouderwets, ketelmuziek.
